But Kamala Harris hasn't done anything to you and I, like Goat, am a little surprised you are unable to put those experiences aside in your evaluation of her. That is not being an apologist for abuse. I think you're a great lad and an excellent poster, and I hope that somewhere down the line you find a bit of peace as pertains to this part of your life.

I keep hearing that. It sounds like a threat that black voters will stay away in droves if she's passed over.

Does she even overwhelmingly identify as African-American? I always thought she hyped up the Indian side of her family more and that black-Americans didn't necessarily identify with her.
