She'd be 35 by election day and (obviously) when sworn in -

setting that aside - heads would explode and Trump would win.

And we can't have that.

They would most definitely explode!

But getting one woman of color elected president is going to be hard enough and AOC also wouldn’t have the benefit of helping get votes in a swing state. If New York is not a solid blue we are really in trouble.

Just looked. She’ll be 35 in October so should be legal, but it won’t be her. Not this cycle.

I don’t know much about him politically but Kelly seems to tick a lot of boxes for a VP in this election. Former Navy, former Astronaut, Senator in a swing state and (if he chooses) can use the experience he had with his wife, Gabby Giffords, to try and push the unity message and maybe soften the Reps rhetoric. I’m sure it’s something he would actually believe in too given what Giffords and their family went through.

Kamala can beat Trump, she just needs a solid campaign and good VP pick (Buttigieg would be excellent imo).

Her vice-presidency has lacked anything substantive, positive or negative. She can use this to her advantage actually and now really put across who she is to the American people. A no-nonsense, successful career woman who specializes in banging her way to the top.

The best thing that can happen for the Democrats is her getting out of the way for someone like Buttigieg who is always on message without flaw. She is an 'L' that hasn't happened yet, and will cheerfully ride the party right down to Satan if given the chance.
