Kamala can beat Trump, she just needs a solid campaign and good VP pick (Buttigieg would be excellent imo).

Her vice-presidency has lacked anything substantive, positive or negative. She can use this to her advantage actually and now really put across who she is to the American people. A no-nonsense, successful career woman who specialises in taking down bullies.

Biden simply had to go, he has deteriorated into pitiful wreck of a man. He needs to get over being forced out, the fate of the country is far more important than his ego. Him being re-nominated spelt certain defeat in November, fair or not.

Tbh the Biden team did her no favors getting her to be the public face on immigration policy - very little chance of getting a consensus that could pass Congress and a very divisive issue even among Dems.

However recently she has been the admin point person on abortion access - when even solid red states like Kansas and reddish Ohio vote to keep abortion legal that shows how out of touchthe GOP are on the issue, especially a federal ban.
