Don't you think there's a chance the Democratic party was willing to throw Biden under the bus with an early debate as there would still be time to replace him with a coherent and fitter candidate? The sacrificial lamb, so to speak.

No because as I said before it creates an open goal for Trump. “This was the best you had to run against me and now he can’t even do it”. The race is far too close to put someone else in given there isn’t a clear option that would get people voting.

Do you think they will have a gut to do it? On CNN they said that Obama might call Joe and intervene in the Dem process. Hopefully that happens. Joe should not run.

Biden must know he’s a walking corpse at this point which makes it all the more annoying that he hasn’t stepped down. He must be either arrogant or deeply delusional to think he’s in any shape to run a country.

Biden though frail, looked like he still knew the details and breakdowns of figures with questions about how to tackle issues, where Trump knows absolutely nothing about anything other than talking about how incredible he is.

A younger man with the same eye for detail as Joe would have run rings around that buffoon. Shame it’s come to this.

It seems as though the debate couldn’t have went any worse for Joe Biden, he was looking pretty down and out in the race already, now the democrats have to seriously consider putting someone else in there as the candidate
