Zemmour attacked and injured at a rally in NE Paris yesterday.
Feelings running high already.
The report in BBC news again focusing on the pertain and the Jews issue.
I'm not sure that is the most important in the minds of the people.

what? if she's so horrible why then Parisians elected her twice?

They had huge expectations of her when she first got elected and there was no one worthy to compete against her for second round :-( Since she s been the Mayor of Paris, the city has got dirtier, more violent and less safer to life in :-( The fact the city got the Olympics and Rugby World Cup in next couple of years covered over the cracks but Paris is bobo champagne socialist too and love having a "leftist" candidate and once she said she 's looking at going national here for the presidentials, people in Paris were over moon as she will become others problem :)

haha yes as I've lived on and off in France for years , I speak french :-) What does being an expat have anything to do with what I ve said? I voted for her in 1st election but did'nt bother in 2nd ones as have right to vote in french municipal elections :-)
As spectateur has said she divides opinions in Paris :-(
So do you live in Paris? The conversation here is in english so what is the issue of whether I speak french or not? You seem the one biased here no as I didn't agree what you think of her?

I would hate to have to have to live in Paris. Travelling through once every couple of years or so is enough for me.
