I think that it's more worrying that there was a >50%abstention.
Low turnouts traditionally favour the more extremist vote
However it is a sure sign that the electorate have become bored with or lost trust in the centre mainstream parties.
 
Is going to make things super interesting here now as everything that was predicted, maybe 90% hasn't happened, so now Macron has to find allies from the left and right which in turn, those people know their voters are going to turn on them ? The NUPES "Alliance" already turning on Melanchon as he was talking of them assimilating into his party but the communists and greens want to stay as they are and insisted Melanchon is not their leader ? Cope insisting other night that the Republicans joined in "alliance" been told to shut it and the party is rebuilding itself and only normal minded party so better in opposition to ideas their against ?
Macron needs to adapt and play nice with others now as french sick of him going on about the world's issues and not being in France dealing with the normal French people issues
