That makes me wonder if they fully understand what she stands for apart from her xenophobic policies.
Fwiw her fiscal and economic policies are very left-wing.
A lot (possibly even a majority) of Brexit voters were traditional working class, so I would expect Le Pen's fiscal and economic policies to appeal to them based on what you have said.
 
Haven’t followed French politics closely since studying French government in high school.
Surprised to see so much change among the political parties. What happened to RPR?
 
I'm waiting with interest to see the abstention and blank vote figures.
How popular is Macron in reality?

Personally I am not loking forward to another 5 years of reforms, cut-backs and economies.
At least we have a good idea what to expect, in contrast to what would arise out of a LePen presidency.
Interesting development is that narowly beaten socialist M. Mélenchon is putting himself forward for the prime-minister position.
