If you're seen as many of these as me, this is strangely reassuring after what we were promised yesterday. Wind damage looks typical, and the water surge isn't as bad as some I've seen. Hoping that further news bears this out.

I saw a report that a slight shift in storm likely moved the highest surge east into marsh land where they can't get high water marks...and thankfully fewer people.

Obviously fantastic news, but it means folks that don't science will not evacuate for a future storm because this (and other examples) wasn't as bad as it was predicted it COULD be.
