The closer we get to the primaries, the scummier the media will get towards Sanders. He's got them quaking in their boots.

So far they've been reluctant to even mention his name positively on air, now they'll mention it but smear it at the same time.

Current betting odds for the democratic nomination

Biden - 2,5

Sanders - 4,5

Warren - 4,5

Buttigieg - 5

I mean she is being pushed. It's just the people who are pushing her tend to have the interests of a certain foreign adversary in mind when they do it.

Seriously though I don't know if Tulsi just genuinely believes these foreign policy lines that line up very closely to those that the Kremlin tries to push or if something more sinister is happening but either way it is completely disqualifying for a candidate. If you look at the percentage of positive stories from RT about each Dem candidate you'll see Tulsi as a disturbing outlier. And the fact that she is trying to push this line of "everyone is trying to screw me over and shy away from debating my totally legitimate positions" is really annoying because quite frankly the positions are not legitimate at all and debating them will only serve to legitimize them. Which of course would be exactly what Moscow would want.

That's a bit rambling but basically the sooner we get Kremlin backed policies out of the discussion the better.
Getting lots of sympathetic coverage by Tucker Carlson and Mike Huckabee and lapping it all up without blinking.

Genuinely think she’s going to run third-party. I just don’t see how what she’s doing makes sense otherwise.

I wonder if her little cabal of followers on here will still be so supportive of her when she is responsible for four more years of Trump

bit of number-crunching:

since this thread was started it has generated almost 1300 posts. In that same time-frame, the Trump thread has generated well over 5000 posts. That's almost 4 times the number.

Trump's whole schtick is dominating the news cycle. It's working.
It interests me why Evertonians are so occupied US politics. In fact why the UK media spend so much time on stories from the USA.
Much much less news on these things here in France.

Same answer I gave the last person who asked (though you asked in a less judgemental fashion, so feel free to disregard the first two lines!)

Had to take you off ignore to read this.

As has been mentioned “it’s none of your business” what I take an interest in, but since you asked:

1) I have family in America
2) I lived in the US for a year myself and still have friends there who are directly impacted by what he does.
3) Contrary to modern opinion it’s possible to care about people you’ve never met and the issues that affect and cause damage/suffering to them
4) Anyone who thinks the actions of the US President (and government in general) only affect those who live within that country’s borders, is a clinical moron.

Is that enough reasons for you?
