i am not confusing iraq with afghanistan, ffs! i've got family who served in both.

we all knew it was evil rot even before the first deployment in autumn '01.

anyway, best leave it there.

I have a cousin and two friends who served too.

What has people serving got to do with motives? Unless they were in the room when it was decided.

That's what i meant about you confusing them.

Best leave it there anyway seemingly you can't wrong yet again because people served.

that and you cannot read. I never said i was for the war but i understood at the time why they went to war. You are trying to twist it to make a point that isn't even necessary.

You don't have to agree with something to understand it.

Tulsi outlasting the 'top-tier candidate' Kamala Harris...she's on her way to joining the actual top tier herself.

For me, she's the only Dem candidate who can beat Trump as she can actively take his votes due to her veteran status. Sanders & Warren won't turn Trump voters, Biden is senile and I don't believe the electorate at large are ready for a candidate like Mayor Pete.

As Tulsi ticks all the right identity-politics boxes (female, brown, other religion) it remains a mystery why she's not being pushed. Maybe all that identity-politics mania is a facade.
I mean she is being pushed. It's just the people who are pushing her tend to have the interests of a certain foreign adversary in mind when they do it.

Seriously though I don't know if Tulsi just genuinely believes these foreign policy lines that line up very closely to those that the Kremlin tries to push or if something more sinister is happening but either way it is completely disqualifying for a candidate. If you look at the percentage of positive stories from RT about each Dem candidate you'll see Tulsi as a disturbing outlier. And the fact that she is trying to push this line of "everyone is trying to screw me over and shy away from debating my totally legitimate positions" is really annoying because quite frankly the positions are not legitimate at all and debating them will only serve to legitimize them. Which of course would be exactly what Moscow would want.

That's a bit rambling but basically the sooner we get Kremlin backed policies out of the discussion the better.

I'm not a Sanders supporter (unless he wins the Dem nomination) but I'd subject anything concerning current politics from that rightwing publication and author to a very skeptical eye. This looks like part of the larger effort to paint the left as antisemitic for its criticism of Israeli state policies, which is less directed toward American Jews (which demographic tends to favor the Democratic over the Republican Party) than toward American Evangelicals for whom Israel is of great eschatological importance.
