She's been the most-searched for candidate after every debate, despite the politically-motivated Ad-cull. She's so interesting and dangerous to the democratic establishment (due to her pacifist stances) that Democrat-grandee and warmonger Hillary Clinton accuses of her of being a Russian asset, in an effort to discredit her.

Those issues of abortion etc are important sure, but why should Tulsi talk about them when her views are clear and established? The Adsense scandal is far more pressing at the fundamental political-freedom level. No way was it incompetence, the timing was too perfect.
lol, ok mate, I’ll leave you to your conspiracy theories.

I’ve said why she should talk about them - they affect an awful lot of people, her views are neither particularly clear nor established and people who genuinely have had a significant “road to Damascus“ moment tend to be the most effective to persuade those that haven’t. The military is one of her key qualifications and people are being kicked out of it because of their sexual orientation- I personally think that is a tad more pressing an issue than missing 12 hours of ads. And congrats for completely ignoring the Kashmir issue - just like Tulsi has.

they are still being teased, but it's no longer funny nor particularly justified.

the impartiality of the current crop of talk-show hosts with their paid-for biases is common knowledge, whereas Jon Stewart in his heydey was celebrated.
waiiiit a minute doc... You don't think satirizing Fox news is justified??
I get your libertarian world view and the fact that sometimes you like to push buttons to see if someone has considered all the angles,
but....

I think he is looking to bait people with that whole comment. Especially the last line. Best to ignore it.

ok, i'll wind that back a bit, i think i was distracted by something and didn't get to detail that particular post...it should always be justified to take the piss out of any news network, Fox included. But Fox should also get praise where it's due for giving a platform to liberal ideas when the mainstream networks avoid it (for mysterious reasons). It's this more balanced aspect of Fox which has improved greatly since the days of Jon Stewart's pisstaking.

Of course, I also accept there's an element (a major element) of pointscoring here. Tucker et al will be very pleased to host Tulsi if it appears to paint the Democrat-establishment in a negative light. I understand criticism of her from that angle as there's an argument she's damaging her own party by making them look silly on a Republican news network.

But then again, the Democrat-establishment has been making themselves look silly since allowing Hillary to beat Sanders.

Speaking of Bernie, he's my favoured top-tier candidate. And like Gabbard he's benefitted hugely by appearing on the Joe Rogan podcast (now the world's most popular podcast). He got to speak in detail about his ideas, so that the average American for the first time finally understood what he was about (i.e. not a crazy socialist, but a decent politician looking out for the little guy).

If not Tulsi, who admittedly is still a rank outsider, then as a European i would love for Bernie to get it, and beat Trump. He has sensible foreign policy, and humane domestic policies. A humane America is good for the world.

I’d like to take this opportunity to announce that, for a number of reasons, I won’t be participating in the next debate either.

More seriously, I’d absolutely love to know what she’s doing with her campaign, because whatever it is, it certainly isn’t running for the Democratic Party nomination for President.

At least she won’t mind that she didn’t get over the debate qualifying threshold in the two polls released today as she has other plans.

Yang qualified as the 7th, and likely final, candidate.

If there was ever a test of integrity it's this old trick.

The pretending you cancelled on them despite not being invited trick.

I'm sure her fans will call the threshold rigged when this is pointed out to them.

She has a hell of a lot of engagement...27k likes and over 13k comments...all within mere hours.

1% polling normally doesn't translate in such massive interest. This tweet from Tulsi has almost as many comments as Kamala Harris's drop-out tweet, which is already a week old (and Harris was polling at around 5% at the time).

There is deffo something different about Gabbard and her campaign. Her cross-appeal is very interesting to a lot of folk.

One to watch for the future.

That's the key for her the future. She should have held off. Her and about 20 of the others should have let Sanders, biden, Warren and Harris fight it out.

To many off them wasting money all because they all thought they could beat Trump easily.
