I voted for Elizabeth Warren so no, Biden wasn't my first or second or third choice, but I also think the plans promoted by Warren (or in far less specific terms, Sanders) are to a great extent aspirational; in practical terms, even if Dems controlled the presidency and both houses of Congress, I don't think big ticket left-lib ideas like M4A would find enough support to be passed into law as yet. Keeping them in the platform as intentions, however, will keep them alive as ideas and aspirations that will probably eventually gain enough public favor to be realized as legislation and policy. In light of that, I wouldn't be concerned about Biden going too far left if I were against lefty proposals.

Regardless, I am and have always been a lesser-evil voter, in which frame there's no question in my mind that Biden is far preferable to Trump.

I would've been happy enough to vote for Klobuchar, who seems a very practically minded, non-ideological woman, had she become the nominee. Hearing of how she yelled at an aide for bringing her a salad without a fork and then resorted to eating it with a comb instead will keep her enshrined in my heart forever.
So my vote will be determined by Biden and how far left he wants to go, tax plan, infrastructure, etc. Been very generic besides coming out and saying he wants to take aways guns and Beto will be in charge, and M4A/Higher Education. If he can come back from la la land he will have a chance

That’s just what you want in your main man. We’ll see how much of an expert he is on jobs and trade in the coming months.
Did pretty great for the first 3 years he was in office you must agree? Im sure he will bounce back with a strong push once all these lockdowns are done

I think you have to look at that in the context of 26 million job losses and a rampant disease he has done nothing to limit (and in fact is culpable for, by undercutting the CDC and pandemic task force over 3 years), his performance has been undeniably the worst of any president in living memory. Now he is advising people to inject themselves with bleach. This is not what presidents do.

To sum up @Grinch

I have voted both ways
I am neutral
I didn't vote for Trump but many off my friends did

Which then became....

Trump has done a great job
The left are nuts.
Biden is socialist

This is all off your posts summed up.

You contradict yourself several times nor can you make up your mind.

We have seen this before. Trump regret. Try to agree with others to fit in then one day BAM! Trumpis great and you are all snowflakes...

This type of posting is identical to the various types we have seen here before.

Up for debate at the start then they implode.

  • Net exports are on track to increase by $59 billion this year.
  • Improved vetting and screening for refugees, and switched focus to overseas resettlement.
Never mentioned Biden is a socialist but he is trying to lean that way to get the cute little bernie voters to actually show up. And yes the left is kind of crazy.
But hey steve, you know me bud. Continue on your day trying to "prove" your point.

“Getting laughed at”ia

Not by progressives. I would like her to be president if not vice. Her intentions seem dubious to me after her behaviour. But by god she’s a million miles better than Biden or any other candidate bar Bern in my opinion.

Giving Biden the respectable title off socialist is a time-out if ever there was.

She’s first choice with both Sanders and Biden supporters.
