Heard it summed up well the other day “it is the job of everyone anywhere on the left/liberal/Democratic side of the spectrum to be Joe Biden’s biggest ally from now, up to and including Nov 3rd 2020, and after that you should feel free to be his biggest headache and push him hard towards your agenda”

Bernie (the only reason 90%+ of people have even heard the term Democratic Socialist) will endorse Biden, because he understands the stakes of the 2020 election.

The fact that DSA have not only failed to do so but have outright come out and said they won’t, just shows that they don’t share their figurehead’s insight and good sense.

He is going to need to do more than endorse to get some of his knucklehead supports to vote for Biden.
Equally Biden needs to be seen as listening to/getting advice from Sanders and even incorporating pieces of his platform.

I'm not American, but it does say a lot about politics in the US wherein the electorate has to pick the less evil of two rapists.

Im sure it kills him but he realises that the main objective is to remove Trump. Hopefully he carries on picking up delegates though.

Exactly. Most progressives have said that they will rally around the nomination, whoever it was due to the urgency of removing him.

Alas them exercising that freedom to choose could well lead to others freedoms, such as a woman’s right to choose or having pre-existing condidtions covered by insurers, being eliminated if Trump wins a second term.
