I genuinely don't have an idea how Biden went from irrelevant in the first 3 to absolutely running away with it over the course of like 10 days. Unreal.

She would do more harm than good that's for sure but...

The system here is setup such that 3rd party or independent candidates have no chance.

Other than town halls which CNN do for them no one really gives them coverage. They get second rate coverage outside of prime time if they are lucky.

They don't get to debate the main two at all.

She will no doubt have her support but given the numbers she has been getting in the primaries she will do as much damage as that green party lady and that Evan lad did last round.

She really isn't that popular.

Fox will stop covering her also once the left chooses their pick it must be said. Given that they seem to be the only ones giving her air time now. That was strategic and once the dust has settled on the left they will have no use for her nonsense.

he was the last centrist standing - whoever got to that point was always going to win

Possibly, but I’ve seen a disturbing number of a particular group of people on the left (won’t specify, for fear of hurting feelings) singing her praises over the last few days... enough that I’d prefer she just go away

Still, if Biden can avoid a string of gaffes. And that’s a big if, he should take the swing states. The turnout has been good.

Now if you are going on the basis that she can cause trouble only if Sanders supporters decide too right? Those who won't vote for Trump but would vote for her instead as a 3rd party candidate. But this would be in the PE.

As on her own she has no real support. She would need to convince moderates on the right and ironically Sanders new age socialists on the left.
