Here's how I see it.
A ton of moderate suburban Americans sat out 2016, be it through apathy or a dislike of the Clinton dynasty.
These voters came out in force in 2018 and are turning out again for Biden.
I reckon these supporters will turn out in November to give him the edge over Trump.
Now he needs a progressive VP and to shift slightly to the left on health and climate, but not so much as to scare off the moderates.
He has to try and convince some of Sanders's base that he's listening to them and that he'll work towards what they want as well.
I think Yang might make a good VP but I don't see that happening.

Don't see any reason why he would pick a progressive for VP. It really doesn't make any sense. He ran a lousy primary as a centrist and despite that will win rather convincingly.

Michigan from leaning dem to toss up isn't good lol.

Ohio is deep red these days. Dems have a better chance in Georgia than they do there.

Florida and NC is probably light red. Gonna have to put a ton of work into getting 1 of those state. Same for Michigan and Wisconsin (where its a must to win both).

132% of Virginia's economony is defense and security consulting. They are all blue dog dems there. They only thing making them light blue is there is a very very slight change Bernie gets the nom. If Biden can't win VA then shoot him into the sun.

Florida voted to give all convicted felons the right to vote. That's like 1.5million people added to the voter rolls. Got to imagine that would probably swing it a bit more to the "screw the people who put me in prison" camp and turn it light blue.

they aren't on the voter rolls, and its a long rather complicated process to get the right to vote. Expect around 100-200K on the voter rolls tops.

Exactly. Probably the biggest hurdle people will face to getting re-enfranchised is that they’re required to pay off all their legal fees, which for a lot of people amounts to tens of thousands of dollars. So while on paper all these former felons do have a pathway to regaining their right to vote, in practice there will be a large percentage of them who won’t ever be able to clear all the hurdles to make it happen.

I'd expect a lawsuit to follow from the new legislation requiring them to pay any fees, etc., before being reinstated as voters, as the stipulation amounts to a poll tax.

Regardless, it probably wouldn't be resolved in time for the next election.

“A centrist” the most progressive policy platform to ever contest a US General Election.

Again, I’d prefer someone MORE progressive, but let’s not act like he’s running as a Republican-Lite.

He’s more electable. He’s a big name. Was the VP. On loop. State run.

Mainstream media’s got you running In circles. Enjoy 4 years of Trump.

I think it might be that more voters have come out to vote for Biden than Sanders that have given people the impression he is more electable tbh mate.

It’s been rammed down people’s throats before the elections joe is more electable to beat trump By cnn abc. Even if you agree with Sanders you gotta vote Biden cause. So many people have said they agreed with Bernie on policy but voted for Biden.

Topsy Turvy it’s incredible what the system can weave up.

Iowa, New Hampshire and Nevada didn’t seem to care if that was the message from the media - people quite happily voted for a range of other candidates and not Biden and his campaign was on its last legs going into S Carolina. It was African America voters that had faith in Biden not the media.
