It’s been rammed down people’s throats before the elections joe is more electable to beat trump By cnn abc. Even if you agree with Sanders you gotta vote Biden cause. So many people have said they agreed with Bernie on policy but voted for Biden.

Topsy Turvy it’s incredible what the system can weave up.

Do you have actual proof of this?

Is it possible that many that voted for him simply believe in him more than they do Sanders? Heck most in here probably voted for someone other than Biden in their local primary vote. The thing is it's been proven with actual facts courtesy off several posters that seemingly large parts of the US prefer a more moderate Biden than they do Sanders. It's also factual again thanks to stuff posted by few in here as to why people voted and the demographics.

It can't all be conspiracy and people so easily swayed. You have a poor grasp of the intelligence of the voters if you think they turned on CNN and then decided to vote Biden despite their belief that Sanders is better. In fact it's quite insulting.

You know, watching a bit of Sherrod Brown from Ohio, I think he really wouldn't make a bad president. He's got an everyman "oh gosh" about him but at the same time, he's smart as feck.

Still so absolutely mad that they forced Franken to quit. Guy would have slaughtered Trump.

Bernie clearly understands the stakes far better than a section of his supporters, and seems to be trying to “land the plane”, so to speak.

Seems (to me at least, and I might be proven to be hopelessly naive) like he’s going into this next debate to give Biden a chance to appeal to and build bridges towards his supporters (what with outlining ahead of time the questions he’ll be asking, calling him “my friend Joe” etc etc) and possibly to give Biden a chance to move a bit further to the left, in order to do so.

Again, might be wrong, but wouldn’t be surprised to see him do the debate, then suspend his campaign.

Despite my hopes otherwise, it was probably wise on Brown's part not to get involved in the race this time given he likely would not have received the kind of money necessary to mount a credible campaign. However, how he campaigns and wins should be instructive to the Dem nominee. He does not divide between the progressive wing of the party and working-class/union folk, which happens all too often when Dems run in red/purple states. He credibly speaks the language of both and is very well-liked in Ohio.

I doubt he will be under consideration for VP but he should be a regular surrogate on TV as he will be a very good one.

I think Bernie will drop out after the next debate; he just wants Biden to concede on some things. That's my feeling at least.

I still can't believe how big Biden went from not winning a single state in the first 3 primaries to winning almost everything. Insane.


Am 42, NEVER have I felt older than these primaries when I was shouting at the internet "get out and vote you young whippersnappers!"
