And, getting back to my point, will you still have nothing negative to say about him if Warren hypothetically led the race but Sanders still refused to back her, having been trounced in every primary, had no path to elected victory, renounced all his pledges in order to take on more dark money than anyone else in the race, and had his campaign manager state for the record that his sole objective was to thwart Warren long enough to be awarded the nomination against the popular vote, by unelected lobbyists?
I very much doubt it.
If all that was true (though I’d dispute a decent bit of your characterisation, but I’m sure neither of us is surprised at that) then yeah I’d be fairly upset... but you’ve been (along with the rest of the aforementioned section of Bernie’s support) overwhelmingly negative about EVERY other candidate in the race since long before any of that was even arguably the case, and somewhere between condescending and outright hostile towards those who even remotely disagree with you.
I’ll just state for the record once again - if I was American, and Bernie wins the nomination (REGARDLESS OF CIRCUMSTANCE) I’d not only vote for him with a song in my heart, I’d volunteer, knock doors, phone bank and donate along with anything else I could do to get him elected.
Honestly, I’d do all those things for whoever the Dem nominee is - I truly believe it’s that important to get Trump out of office, and ANY of the serious candidates (and a good number of the non serious ones) would be an improvement - but I’d be far happier to do so for Bernie than most of them.
I shouldn't have said that. I apologise.
No worries - particularly confused me since (if memory serves) you’ve previously expressed your opinion that Warren supporters are supposedly the “over educated” ones
