Running Bernie makes trump stronger

He’s the only candidate that follows the Marxist doctrine the most truthfully, properly and intellectually. He will mop the floor with trump with his grasp on socialism. Most of the people are socialists they don’t know it yet but when Bernie gets the stage beside trump it’s going to be a major revolution and awakening of the masses. The beginnings are already happening in the race. He will be nominated.

Please, please, please take the time to find out what Marxism actually is. Trump is more Marxist than Bernie.

I know what it is. Bernie is in a tyrannical capitalist system and is playing it on the edge. It’s in the early stages. Capitalism has such a firm grip on the states that he’s not going to spring a full on ‘take the keys’ Marx revolution in these circumstances while tuning. But a true socialist democracy is his goal. The world has yet to see it yet.

I still don't understand why Sanders insists on calling himself a democratic socialist rather than a social democrat. Is it an effort at rebranding to distance himself from the nightmarish drudges of the Prole Empire of Denmark?

Regardless, I can't but feel he'd be less objectionable to many middle 'Muricans if he toned down the references to democratic socialism and fully wrapped himself in the legacy of Franklin Roosevelt. Why frighten people with the S word when you can refer to all of the benefits Americans have historically derived from the S word (without using the S word) instead?

Meanwhile, in Centrism:

A lot of the 2018 gains that enabled Dems to win in the House were in wealthy and middle class suburbs.

That isn’t to say the same effect will happen in 2020 or that a different dynamic can not be effective, Presidential elections are after all different than mid-cycle ones, but I think it a fair issue to raise.

Also “Generals fighting the last war” is a pretty common phenomenon, and we to date don’t have a lot of data on which areas/voters are turning out in the primaries to make a more up to date assessment

I like your optimism but that’s a million miles off how America thinks.
