You get seen to much quicker in Cuban hospitals than the NHS. And that's came about weirdly since the tories took power and started imposing draconian cuts. For Cuba that would not be an option.

That's not what the article says, but I'll take your word for it......

Meanwhile, in an unrelated subject, what happened to your pre match threads, I haven't read one since you stopped.......

We live in a society where some of the jobs most helpful to the community (teachers, care workers, nurses) are some of the worst valued and paid, whereas some of the least helpful and most harmful (some of the banking and financial industry like short term currency traders) are renumerated the highest.

Don't you think it would be good to change society so that there is a reversal in this?

Madness. Are you some sort of loony leftie?

What does this even mean? Employees tax payments are a profit for business somehow???????????? Every one of your posts on this subject seem to get weirder as the night goes on. Is there drink being taken? :drunk::hayee::cheers:

Think he's confusing employers NI and employees NI payments... and even if he is, it still doesn't make much sense.

If you read it in the context it was put in it makes complete sense. The point was on employers NI contributions as a tax contribution towards society, mine was a counter point, if that was the case, then employees NI contributions, seen as a tax contribution going into infrastructure, would enable businesses to make profits, creating an environment to operate in. It isn't difficult to grasp.
No drink, once people with little grasp on economics start making bizarre points then you do tend to go down the rabbit hole.
