I hate it break it to you, but there is a good chance Labour could end on 22-23%, not 25-26%. Based on current polling.

Polls? Rampant horsedumps. Theres a good morning britain poll that has Corbyn on 64%. What are polls? Anyone been involved in
one?

What are polls for? To influence or to inform? And if they inform why should people let someone else's opinion persuade them how to vote, are they just sheep?

Propaganda. People need to get answers so they need to start asking questions. Problem is, when you get doorstepped those you can ask the questions tend to know little and just regurgitate mantra. It's all just selfish politics. If people were less afraid, cared more for others, we wouldn't even see tories bother in areas outside the south east. But they do because society is selfish and terrified of being one of those the government is going after.

I work in the north, i earn good money, I pay circa £30K per annum tax, I don't moan about it.Lib dems are the crucial factor. I just cannot see Corbyn as a leader of our country
I give to charity, i live not extravagently, I am not an enemy of the working class, I came from there. I just cannot see Corbyn as a leader of our country. I am sort of soft left, but pragmatic.

Wherever you can vote tories out , do it. If it means voting corbyn in, vote against, Lib dems are the soft centre - better them than 100 seat majority for May.

I'd be happy to see him as leader of the country but it's the lack of calibre of the people around him who would have a part in running things that I'd be more concerned about

That has been mishandled by Corbyn.

The only sane answer there is to only offer a second referendum in the event that the deal that emerges from negotiations is nothing like the one promised by "Leave" in the referendum.

Except that the mysterious "Leave" you refer to doesn't exist, and there was no specific "deal" promised by anyone. The referendum was do you want to be in or out of the EU, nothing more, nothing less. So you can't compare the deal that emerges from the negotiations to a promise that doesn't exist.

Quite. Its all a bit weird.

Heaven only knows how it will all play out in the GE. Like nearly half the population voted to stay, and just over a half voted to leave. Will the Cons or Lab nail their colours to either mast, when there are contrary positions within both of their core support?

Will 48% vote for the Lib Dems/SNP/Plaid? Doubt it.

It is just nuts.

My overriding concern with Corbyn/Labour was the lack of willingness to deal with those who chose the most inappropriate time to launch a leadership challenge and imho caused a missed opportunity for labour when the tories were in a jam. More selfish than the tories they were supposed to be opposing and despite being defeated still won't pipe down. The subsequent fallout has brought us to here.
That turd up in Cumbria who said he wouldn't campaign for Corbyn needs hoofing and a ppc submitted who will drive to get a labour government into office. Careerist politicians are a blight on this country.

It doesn't exist? I could have sworn that they did. They even had a website saying what life would be like if we left.

Not in my eyes, it isn't. It has its roots in the socialist movement and traditionally represented the working class, but all parties have to evolve and Labour officially rejected outright socialism when it dropped Clause 4, which was key in making them electable. I'm sure most Labour voters who believe in redistribution and social justice don't believe in the principle of state ownership and would not be happy if the government took possesion of their house/car/TV which is the true definition of socialism.
unbelievable lad ....you dont give a toss about what the tories are doing to the disabled, elderly, people who are struggling to keep their heads above the poverty line..patronising twunt you

That was the Leave campaign group, but they were in no position to make promises any more than any other campaign group because they were not in government. The actual government, who were in the position of being able to make promises they could keep, were actually campaigning to remain. In the real world it's up to the voter to make their own judgement based on the available evidence as to how to vote. And there lies the problem, people being unable to think for themselves and being too easily led.
