I didn't suggest he's not an intelligent person, he is and very well educated and travelled.

What I am suggesting is that his persona hardly lends itself to being the national figurehead.

Do any our of politicians strike you as being sutible to be our national figurehead? I fail to see anyone currently at Westminster who good enough to represent the UK. They're a'll simply verying degrees of awful.

But they only gained twelve seats in Scotland (in addition to the one they had) just like Labour gained six (taking them up to seven). Even the Lib Dems gained three seats (taking them to four). Everyone made gains in Soctland at the expense of the SNP.

you take those 12 away and there wouldn't be enough to keep the government in even allowing for the coalition of choas with the dup. The sole reason they can even try to cling on is down to Davidson and her success as May was and is a failure

Agreed, May is a total failure. Yet even without the gains she made in Soctland she'd still have more seats then Labour. Even if you take away the 13 Scottish seats the Conservatives would still have the largest party with 305 while Labour would have 255 (we have to take away their seven after all if the Conservatives don't get credit for their Scottish counterparts why should Labour?).

And I wouldn't call her an idiot either. I don't like her or Johnson but neither of them are idiots. Johnson's rise to were he is however is slightly more impressive then Abbot who wouldn't be near any major government post in any other political party that wasn't lead by Jeremy Corbyn. He'd of well sacked her if they didn't have such personal history.

that is the point though 305 seats means they cant do anything so it is entirely down to the seats they won north of the border that they remain in power and that is down to one female leader whose name aint Teresa.
