The argument that because the wealthy already contribute a larger % of the tax take, and they shouldn't pay more as a result is redundant. If you get paid more, then you should pay more back. Those with the largest shoulders...

Apart from a limp handshake I'm a bit ambivalent to be honest. Decent enough bloke, but not particularly inspirational. Probably the safest pair of hands available, but there's no Macron like personality to galvonise the party. I mean he's 74 ffs. British politics is in a sorry old state.

It's almost as if the Lib Dems have no real vision for the country or something, and as a result people have been put off them.
 
It seems the DUP are playing hardball, sky news reporting that "DUP are disappointed with the talks ; government needs greater focus ; the Tories can't take the DUP for granted and negotiations haven't progressed how they'd have wanted "
