Tell you what, minor points scoring over who won and who lost is very shortly going to be the least of the problems.

Not going to copy and paste a load of stuff, but EU want to shift the derivatives et al from London to a member state (no guessing who the 2 at the forefront are, Germany and Fance. Either read this or don't. NEA

As far as i'm aware they don't check to see what political party you voted for before giving treatment. It will be a benefit to all the people of NI.

Yes of course but they will be getting extra money for keeping the Tories in power its wrong simple as that.

What about the rest of the UK the NHS is in crisis they wont be getting extra money.

Brexit means Brexit.

Of course they will pursue influence and control over the administration of their own currency. They already tried this in 2015, when Brexit was still just an idle threat. Everyone voted knowing this sort of thing was likely.

It's swings and roundabouts, eventually they will end up doing the same for Labour. Or at least it could be someone like PC, any party that gets around the number of seats that the DUP is always going to be ripe to do a deal with a minority government.

The judgement was 2015 - the case started 2011.
Thing is, its not so much taking control of the administration of their currency, just protectionism in respect of derivative trades.
Believe the US aren't too happy.

Tried it a few years ago and got knocked back by the European Courts.

Vaguely remember that from my previous life.

Its odd, bankers and the whole financial industry gets such a kicking, (kind of understandable in a way), but the actual £££ it actually contributes to Uk Plc is quite a lot.

Agree 100%.
Was talking to my son who reckons that about 75% of Eurotrades are done via London Clearing House Limited, a subsidiary of London Stock Exchange apparently.

They'll settle for the same influence that the US regulatory system has over the market; its in no-ones interest to move it from London because it only functions as a global market if its all based in one place.

Oh I very much doubt that folks motivated by UKIP were even remotely concerned about the clearing house in the City of London.

Or even knew about it.
That's more then a little disingenuous to just dismiss the 4million plus UKIP voters as totally ignorant of such matters. Do you not think that since they've proven that they didn't all vote for the Conservatives in this election as it was claimed they would that you and others have slightly misjudged them? Perhaps your unfounded preconceived ideas about UKIP voters have blinded you and others to the possibility that you've stereotyped and slandered them somewhat?

This is political, hopefully muscle-flexing from the EU, but there is no reason why they can't enforce it.

Didnt dismiss them.

Point to me to any part of any parties manifesto that discussed the likely impact, or otherwise, on the LCH?
