all this talk about scousers voting Labour (and if you don't then you're somehow not a scouser) I have found rather distasteful and on the verge of bullying. As I mentioned on another thread, I've seen GOT in a new light this past week or so.
You ain't from round these 'ere parts are yer, son?

He lost the vote. So the folk who won it should sort it.

Not that that is going well.
I'm sure the leave campaigners would of loved that! Unfortunately Cameron didn't even bother to think of the possibility of a defeat so he made no plans for such an eventuality. Are you suggesting that following the referendum result we should of had a pro-leave Brexit coalition government? Bottom one is that Cameron was Prime Minister who called for the referendum and it was his job to make contingency plans for both remain and leave votes, if he had no such plans (and he obviously didn't) then he was reckless and stupid beyond belief and should be held accountable for that.

Old news now, but anyrate.

Just had lunch with my eldest, 24. Non political, but deffo not a daft lad.

Voted Corbyn. Asked him why.

"The only one since Clegg who asked us to, and I had no idea what May was actually about"

Makes a simple but inescapable logic.

I hope you gave him a good slap....

Let me get this straight Pete - you want Nigel Farage to be a part of Brexit negotiations?

Nigel Farage.

Nigel...

...Farage.

WTF?

No. I would like him involved because he has more experience of the Eu and its workings than anyone else in the Uk. Use him, pick his brain, make the most of what we have..,,,,

You underestimate the Tories. She will be gone when they want and when they know they can win. They will close ranks and rally around May until they wish a change.........
They wont win regardless of who's in charge of them.

Brexit is the toxic issue that they cant do right for doing wrong on now. They're holding fast to a hard line it looks like. And even if they start playing ball with the EU the EU will cane them and not give them a decent deal on trade. It WILL be a punishment beating now.

This autumn or next spring...they'll go again and be defeated. I guaranteed it'll be about wages and cuts next time out and they'll be buried.
