I quite like this result. I don't like governments with overwhelming majorities as they then just do whatever they want. The Scottish independence issue has been put away and the mouthy Sturgeon will now shut up, the NI now get a proper voice within overall government and the arrogance of some tories will now be toned down....... works for me.....

Labour will be unable to form any sort of majority coalition. The Conservatives and the DUP will do a deal and May will continue in government until the tories decide to throw her out, which may be quite soon......
Ha Ha Ha.

Can you imagine even a lot of Tory MPs holding their noses and making common cause with those yahoos?

Unreal.

May and the Tories are completely bankrupt.

A lot of the people who voted Brexit didn't back May yesterday because, while they want an independent Britain, they don't want one with constant austerity.
Tories , liberals, and to an extent SNP
overplayed brexit, and didn't offer anything new to the voters.
Labour largely ignored it , other than saying they were going through with it, meaning those who voted leave like myself could back them on there anti austerity policy s without any fear of a backtrack on the referendum,
The liberals should have piped up more on the home front to get anywhere, as there only brights spots were in Scotland really were it was more of a backlash against the second independence referendum that got them results.

They have to have them on side for any Brexit deal anyway, even if May had a massive majority. This will ensure that the government keeps NI on side and the Scottish results stops Sturgeon throwing in demands every five minutes....

If nothing else this has been a resounding mandate for Corbyn's grassroots activism and mobilising of the youth vote.
Demonstrates that Labour does NOT have to take a Tory lite position and that are capable of being elected in marginals with Socialist centre left- middle leftist policies.
Imagine if he'd actually had his own MP's behind him with Labour providing a solid united front over the last 12 months.
