I'm still definitely of the opinion that's it's more likely that the exit poll is right. But that Sunderland one was 8 points off the exit poll forecast, and actually didn't even get the swing in the right direction.

As I've said we need a marginal, and a non london one probably, I'm thinking Nuneaton should be due soon.
Apparently regional polling has shown a larger swing to the Tories than the rest of the country, so the exit poll could still be correct.

If it is true that the exit poll excludes postal votes, and if that is as high as 17% as I have seen somewhere, then that is not good for Labour. Most of those will be police, armed forces and older voters who will tend to be more Tory than Labour - I think??

Maybe someone can tell me this is not the case in any of those suppositions??? I don't know!

Turnout looks like its going to be very healthy. Good day for democracy.

This, really. Whatever result Corbyn ends up with at this election, he should be congratulated for going beyond the small patch of voters that have been fought over these past twenty years.

I don't think it does as it's taken from on the street voters.

She will be given the opportunity to form a government (if she doesn't resign first). That will fail. Corbyn will then be asked, and that will fail too.

Then we have another election.

....provided that no one can negotiate sufficient support from other parties to get over the line.

Lib Dem senior is ruling out any deals or coalition so that takes a lot of seats out if they hold to this position and in the event of a hung parliament would make another election more likely. See my earlier post on the various options

Will remain leader and put the likes of the Welsh windbag Kinnocks, Hilary and the Eagle's of this world on the spot if they attempt to launch a disruptive influence.
