True. But you get the point. Thay all do it. Stage managed nonsense.

Except some seem to think that only one side does do it.

Hence a narrow prism.

The point is, Corbyn's meet and greets are genuine and unscripted whereas May's just attempt to look like that. Worth pointing out.

As Clint points out:

The pictures don't do it justice but they're - the Corbyn speeches/Rallys - far from 'stage managed.'

Oh dont get me wrong, May has been a disaster this campaign. And Corbyn has been the opposite. But if you honestly think only one has been stage managed, well, come on. Corbyn just does it better.

And they just randomly turned up? Wernt tweeted etc etc by activists to pop down there?

Ergo, stage managed.

They all do it.

Except Corbyn. Apparently.

It may be stage managed, and of course people are invited along, but the fact people WANT to attend and listen to him speaks volumes.

Didnt say they didnt.

Said they all stage manage events.

It was Gateshead. My guess would be is, if it was in say, Cheltenham, the turnout may not have been so big, (like May in Scotland), but I bet a few bob that the twitter pics wouldnt show that.

Well managed in that sense, yes. But not going to lengths as if to create a false sense of A, atmosphere and B, the amount of 'supporters' who turned up.

Would he get the same crowds outside of Labour strongholds?

Wirral West isn't a Labour Stronghold and I believe reports said he got anywhere from 3k to 6k people who turned up to hear him talk on the beach.

You've got an unusually definition of "stage managed" - almost to the point of meaninglessness.

What is yours then?

I said they all do it. I said May has been a disaster this campaign. I have said Johnson is a buffoon.

If you honestly think that that the LP do not not, ok, (insert your own phrase) "manage" media events, then fine. You are wrong.

What annoys me about this post is that I already told you the answer when you made a snipe at him regarding the same thing.

Does he get those kind of crowds in Wokingham? Or Scotland for that matter? The man needs to wander out of his echo chamber a bit.

He had crowds so big in Hebden Bridge (Calder Valley, Tory seat since 2010) that he had to give the same speech twice so everybody could see it.

He had large crowds in Leamington Spa, another Tory seat.

He's not only campaigning in Merseyside...

I've begun to read all your posts imagining you as a boorish bloke holding court in a pub drinking mild from handled dimple glass. It makes them much more fun.
