He did nothing for the peace process. He was never involved. His only role was in defending the IRA, and to pretend otherwise is a disgrace........
Would like to see the quote/quotes/whole article/articles were he 'defends the IRA'.

" I agree with the shooting of British soldiers and believe the more who are killed the better"
Imagine a politician making a statement like that
I certainly do,you would think all parties would condemn a statement like that, and the media would question itI am sure you have the whole article at hand to how us when this quote was made and by whom.

And I am sure you are going to share the whole article with us. Thanks in advance.
It was Tory MP and former IRA member Maria Gatland, and the quote is "agreed", rather than "agree". Still, tho...I am sure you have the whole article at hand to show us when this quote was made and by whom.

Thats exactly it though, whether it be the idiocy of youth or not,how often has it been brought up? An ex IRA member representing the Conservatives,no fuss kicked up at all why notShe's a councillor rather than an MP. TBH though to bring it up just highlights the absurdity of the allegations aimed at Corbyn, she is by all accounts a decent sort and has worked hard to recover from the idiocy of her youth - and the only likely reward she'll get is to be thrown under a bus by May et al.
They've already tried the IRA crap, by saying that he refused to condemn the IRA after he clearly condemned them several times.
