To be fair to the Weetabix-haired muff-ferret, he gave her a decent grilling and she really wasn't up to it.

Andrew Neil: "Where's the money coming from?"
Theresa May: "Strong economy."
Andrew Neil: "Specifically?"
Theresa May: "A very strong economy."

Tories well and truly on the ropes.

Unlike you, I will reserve judgement until he has been through the card.

But May just does not inspire. Even a little bit.

Neil is the fairest if the fair. He grills everyone and anyone. Please don't go down that road with him. He is a cold, calculated assassin of politicians of all creeds.

I would rather we wernt leaving, but that ship has sailed.

Maybe I am not making myself clear. But this election should not be a naked Left/Right fight. The stakes are far higher this time.

My issue with Corbyn (and his close team) on this isnt a political one. Its a competence one. I doubt he has ever negotiated any Government treaty, trade deal, immigration agreement, you get the drift, any more than you and I have.

Like I have said, he/she can bang on all night about this tax, this spend, this what whatever, but unless we get a half decent deal with the EU, its all pretty much fish food.

I just wish some others would take blinkers off.

Most of the negotiations will be done by civil servants, what matters is the instructions, confidence and support they are given. I'd have much more confidence that Corbyn would give that to them rather than May.

Even @peteblue must be crapping himself at the prospect of having May for the next parliament after that car crash of a day. That interview was horrendous!

She is a total, utter political lightweight.

Didn't see it mate. She's no Maggie Thatcher that's for sure, and she's rubbish in front of the cameras, but she's 20X better than Corbyn so we have to let her have a go..........

Either of them, imo. Genuinely conflicted here, in what is actually a more important election than most. We screw this up, and there aint much room to unscrew it.

I honestly get why Corbyn supporters get all excited by him, and smash the Tories, nationalise the lot, etc etc etc, but the stark choice is, re Brexit, between two pretty weak looking figures to face up to 27 other countries.
May seems like she's approaching the EU with a reckless and arrogant attitude. Surely that's the worst attitude you can have to a negotiation unless you're genuinely coming from a position of power. Which we're clearly not!

As someone from NI I can't stress enough how it's utter lies to suggest he was key in the peace process. That is shocking revisionism. No one hear had heard of him till he was made leader.
I didn't say he was. But do you think he was in favour of the bombings?
