Corbyn's Brexit policy is a lot more sensible than May's is - for a start, its more honest. Secondly announcing in public most of what you want beforehand is the only way you can negotiate with them.

Hahahahaha......you're just taking the mick now. Corbyn's policy is to print whatever amount of money the EU demand, then roll over and find a way of getting back in..........

Quite. A bloody stupid thing to do imo.
I agree it was stupid. And whilst it was May who said that was what this election is about this dementia tax almost u turn doesn't exactly make her look like a strong leader let alone someone who can negotiate with the EU.

Pete I know you're a Tory voter. Surely you can't be impressed by this campaign. This was a chance to beat a useless Corbyn and demoralised labour party by 20 points!! May is having an utter mare. Looked like Everton at Anfield earlier lol

It's been a disgrace tbh. Corbyn should by now be dead and buried, but I just keep thinking that May knows she's got England but doesn't want to frighten the horses in Scotland, Wales and NI......well at least I hope that's her strategy....otherwise it's just crap......

In Hull though.

Not that representative of the whole electorate is it?

And he said it was all costed? Wow. Hardly likely to say otherwise, is he?

As representative as any poll.

It has been costed in the manifesto - look it up.

Well I posted a few days back that that policy was both idiotic and pointless.

Even @peteblue must be crapping himself at the prospect of having May for the next parliament after that car crash of a day. That interview was horrendous!

She is a total, utter political lightweight.

She absolutely bottled it today. Quite shocking really. She should still win of course

Neil will do the exact same to Corbyn and the rest and rightly so. No one will get his upper hand. Way better these than inane leaders debates/shouting sessions

Agreed it's made them look nasty and then trying to u turn but not quite u turn had made her look pretty weak. Labour sitting back with the popcorn today.

I'm genuinely curious. We need to pay for it somehow.
Of course, and to be serious, I don't know labour's stance here. Maybe by taking it back 'in-house' and cutting out some merchants.
Why did the tories want to cut back here as opposed to elsewhere? It's undeniable that they do spend a lot of tax revenue/increase indebtedness of the country w/o much to show for it.
Did you read the ft article quoted on here yesterday?
