Funny at the deathly silence of the Tories defending the Tory manifesto when they couldn't wait to destroy Labour's one.

Bit ashamed of it eh lads? Not showing up today.?

It's awful. Specifically the Death Tax, which is what it is.

But they've been smart in not revealing too much because that means they can do more in power and not be hamstrung by promises. Why make big promises to the electorate when the election is in the bag anyway?

The Tories policies always kick the poor and vulnerable - that's why you should be angry at the state of Labour, because they aren't a viable opposition to provide an alternative thanks to the joke that is Corbyn.

You think I'm a Tory? No mate. Not at all. But I'm certainly not voting Labour while that joke is in charge and the trade unions/Momentum dictate their leadership elections, because if I did, I'd be enabling decades of uninterrupted Tory power.

That's the irony - Corbyn does more for the Tories than May ever could or will.

As for the debates, the broadcasters have scored a massive own goal by not dictating their own plans and 'empty chair' anyone stupid enough not to attend.

Cowardice basically - the broadcasters bent over backwards to get the meagre bones the Tories and Labour threw them.

er - in 2015 Corbyn overwhelmingly won (121,000 to Burnham's 55,000 in second place), the vote from Labour members (ie: not counting the union vote or the £3 people). He got to within half a percent of having more votes from the membership than the three other candidates combined. That was an electorate before Momentum, and before the big increase in membership caused by his supporters joining (or rejoining).

So to say "the trade unions / Momentum dictate their leadership elections" is a complete fib; what you are complaining about is the membership being given a real say in who represents them. Do you really think it would be better to go back to the days when things actually were fixed, as seen with what happened to the late Rhodri Morgan (twice - against Davies and Michael), or Livingstone (against Dobson) with such clear and demonstrable success?

Spot on it's sad if we had a Labour moderate leader May would have not even called this election I like you will return to the Labour fold when Corbynism is kicked into touch!
