We've used a total of 25 players in the first team to date this season, with Baningime and McCarthy #24 and 25 today. This excludes Gareth Barry's sub appearance v Ruzemberok. Seems to me to be a heck of a lot of players by the end of October, especially when you consider Coleman and Bolasie will no doubt make an appearance at some point this season, as well as probably a couple of other youth players, and a couple of January signings.

Symptomatic of our issues that we've tried so many combinations? The odd injury has impacted as well of course.

I wonder what's our record for number of players to make a first team appearance in a season?
