I have to agree with you on that one. Or is he trying to get siggs up match fitness not sure... We'll see after the break what happens. Im hoping and its no shoe horning as you cant please everyone...

Yep I agree with you. Just put this together based on what Koeman has done so far, coupled with what he's said in the pressers.

He's definitely using the 4-3-3 more this season rather than the 4-2-3-1. He keeps mentioning "free roles" and the "forward positions", so I can see Rooney and Sigurdsson filling those roles right and left respectively.

Personally I'd play Sigurdsson behind the striker in a 4-2-3-1.
