If it was either Lens, Finbogasson or Chadli then i'm be upset

All 3 are a good shout, although Chadli is an attacking mid come winger. Lens as been told he can leave and Southampton was close to signing him in the summer, he'd be a decent signing, can play a number of positions.

Wonder if it's Altidore of AZ, meant to be doing very well over in Holland, and Moyesy is an admirer. Looked at him before he went to Villarreal and before he went to Hull on loan years ago.

Not been linked to him this month but apparently Newcastle have had a bid of £628.000 rejected for Yoan Gouffran. Now Gouffran's deal runs out in the summer and Bordeaux are happy to cash in on him this month but want 1 million Euros for him!.

Now im sure we was linked to him in the summer but wether that was just tabloids and interenet speculation i dont know, but for that price, i think it would be something we should be seriously looking into IMO!.

The lad started out as a winger at Caen and then moved to Bordeaux with a decent rep of being a fast, skillfull winger who got goals but didnt really set the place on fire at first but then Bordeaux lost Chamakh and switched him upfront and Gouffran as never looked back and as been banging the goals in this season!.

Now for a million Euros, this would be ideal and good business for us and he would give us options in the attacking third, and especially options for if the likes of Mirallas was to unfortunately pick more injuries up!.

To me, he could be worth taking a punt on at that price.

He is available because he wants in excess of 80 grand a week.

Move along please

Jelavic's agent only has one client - purely because it's his dad you bulb.

If that's directed at me mate then hopefully the answer I have given before gives some clarity to the point I was making . There are a few articles online that mention the 'deal broker' involved in the jelavic deal mate it's very rare that somebody would move clubs a few times and just use his family without other advisors . I think jelavic's uncle is the driving force in that family to be honest .

A contract to represent a player is one thing but as I've said many deals involve other agents . The money involved understandably tends to lead to plenty of people sticking their oar (connections ) in.
