I know i keep asking myself this it seems so obvious. Thing is the fellani money in the summer is no help at all as we can attract a much better class of player when he is at the club and we are pushing for forth, but what do we know

Banks require security. If you already have primary and secondary liens against everything you own to secure other loans, nobody is going to lend you a bent penny. We really need to clear a substantial % of our debt. The masses will flail and gnash teeth, but if we don't make Europe, EFC really should consider using a substantial sum of the Fellaini money to apply to long term debts.

How about keeping our best players and manager and getting rid of a board who wont stand behind the club to take us forward on the financial playing feild

INDIANAPOLIS — Don't be surprised if there's some news on the horizon about the LA Galaxy's next Designated Player.

LA manager Bruce Arena spoke to media after the conclusion of the 2013 MLS SuperDraft and provided the latest update.

"I wouldn't be surprised if over the next week or so, we're going to have some kind of decision we're going to make with a Designated Player," Arena said.

Then the coach of the two-time MLS Cup reigning champion was specifically asked about two high-profile players. First, Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

"We wouldn't rule that out," Arena said about whether Lampard was probably coming to LA. "It's always a possibility."

How about Real Madrid attacking midfielder Kaká?

"Those are players we've spoken to," said Arena, who recently told beIN Sport that Kaká was "not on the radar" of the club.

Arena also gave an update on one of his current DPs: Landon Donovan. He indicated that he last spoke to Donovan "recently, very recently" and the next important meeting is scheduled for this weekend.

The Galaxy boss said he's hopeful of garnering enough information about Donovan's future in order that he can make plans accordingly.

"I'm hopeful we'll have a good feel for where he's headed after this weekend, yes."

Could all be bunk. But hey, that's with this thread is for. Just keeping you guys updated on news that I can at least post on here from credible sources.

If we ONLY sign Donovan this window, I would take that.

Have you seen our credit rating....well lets put it this way the only avenues for us is a loan from the caymen islands or Wonga which both carry an interest rate that will get either of them very rich.
Loans of the scale we're talking about aren't just done on "what's your credit rating, see what the computer says"

I don't see how, given the way these loans are worked out, we would be unable to borrow money, considering that we have the GUARANTEED large increase in income from the new TV deal next year, and Fellaini as a huge tangible asset that would easily sell in the summer if required. Not to mention the POTENTIAL increase in income if we were to finish top 4.

Does not work in this way, honestly.

If it was your money, would you lend it to Kenwright ?
