Purely out of interest, if Negredo were to be named in the squad for Sevilla tonight, and then Everton suddenly found £10 million down the back of the sofa, could he just walk off the pitch and still sign?

.....got in the bath and Fer deal was back on, come back down and Fellaini is the focus .Is there any encouragement on the Fer front or is it all based on the Fourth Official twitter? This is so frustrating.

I wouldnt want a player who would do that, we would have to have a team of doctors that we trust near him to perform some sort of medical also, just cant see this one.

I'm happy we signed Stone but why do it on the last day of the January window? The january window imo is for strengthening your squad to push on for the second half of the campaign. Stone is one for the future, which is great, but shouldn't these types of deals be the focus of the summer when we have a bit more time? And maybe we would have missed out on this particular youngster if Wigan bought him, but there are plenty of quality players in the lower leagues that we could invest in instead.

I don't see him making a contribution this season, so I don't see why this is a priority in January at all.

Exactamundo!

Buying youngsters is all well and good, but we are in the middle of a bare knuckle fight for CL qualification and our main priority must be the next 14 matches.

Fer is OFF by looks of it lad - Twente not budging again. There's a few rumours of PSG bidding for Felli tonight.
