We are usually told expect no movement aren't we? This time we've been told we are actively looking, which we clearly are. So i'd be very surprised if we didn't bring anyone in at all.

We'll get someone.

We were willing to spunk £8m in a January window on Fer ffs, we can't go without signing anyone now surely??

very good signing for Fulham there in Emanuelson on loan.

I'd always sign Urby and Drenthe in FM2010 for my Everton team and let them duke it our for the left mid spot.
Drenthe would usually win.

Anyway, is Negredo completely scuppered? This is the last i've heard from official sources, meaning McNulty:
"I've been told Everton "remain active on a number of fronts" as the 11pm deadline approaches. As we reported last night Sevilla's Alvaro Negredo remains their top target but hearing they are in the market for another, as yet, unnamed La Liga player."

Appearantly that's Ruben Gascon or something.

Also, Mcnulty just tweeted that Wigan have had a bid accepted for that Barnsley rightback, John Stones. £3m quoted.

We´ll make a signing, but it will be for back up and not for first 11 like Fer.

Can't say I agree, i mean i think we'll sign a squad player yes, but think we'll get someone for the first team. I think Moyes (and the board) know that if we want 4th,we need to improve and we'll get the money back from the TV deal if we dont make it.

I deffo think someone will come in, but at the same time I think Moyes's 1-2 main targets may have gone up in smoke (fer, negredo (price range) so it makes me think will will end up with someone not as good as those but just for another number in the squad? really hope not and I hope he can bring in atleast one top player Fer was such a good signing still cant get over the deal not going through.

@EPLStuff: BREAKING: Chelsea have submitted a £32m bid for Everton's Marouane Fellaini, according to reports.

oh dear

According to reports on some jarg .nl website. If it would be true we should reject it and let them offer fifty and then get decent replacements in. But as it's not it's all good.

Kevin Doyle?
