Paris St Germain have announced that they will hold a press conference at 4pm UK time this afternoon, with the Ligue 1 giants strongly tipped to unveil former Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy star David Beckham as their latest marquee signing.

BBC - Oooh. It looks like Everton might have missed out on John Stones. BBC Radio 5 live's senior football reporter Ian Dennis says Barnsley have accepted a bid in the region of £3m for the Barnsley right-back from Wigan Athletic. Over to you, David Moyes...

Can't see us matching that.

If we have money a RB is not what we should be spending it on

Don't see the point of wasting 3m on a kid, moneys tight how it is.

not too arsed, we can look at RB in the summer if hibbert is never going to recover. doesn't need strengthening atm, we're just unlucky with injuries and moyes' useless decisions to play jags there. it's the least most important position on the pitch imo.

spurs' loans of huddlestone and townsend haven't gone through which is good news, maybe they won't bring anyone in? townsend was a weird one, only backup they have for both lennon and bale, guess they couldn't find a replacement
