This all reminds me of the utter fume I felt in 2009, when I wasnt as "aware" of things as I am now.

We had been heavily linked with Lorik Cana, he ticked all my boxes, he was BOSS on FM, he had an ace YouTube vid and it was said he was a bit of a hardman.

I had never seen him play, but his name "rang out", he then signed for Sunderland for a mere £5m, I was uttely fuming, I mean we had lost out to SUNDERLAND?

But the reality was, he was a bit gash, a total pussycat and most of all, we had never once even been interested in him.

He played quite average for a Year and was shipped off to Gala in Turkey.

All the glitters, is not gold lads.

Joking side... He as very good and important for them, club captain. Got loads of bookings and was sent off, so he did kick people.

He also left for family reasons.

Ill leave now

No but I did watch him for Sunderland, he wasnt gash, some games he was very decent, he wasnt the player I thought, who knows how he would have peformed for us tho.

To be fair, i dont care if they're ****. I want to be in position where we spent money on gashness and didnt mean we did a Leeds or sold our best players

Wait, WHAT????City bought Jo for 18m and De Jong for 18m, just so they could have him 6months earlier./crys
Submitted by Andrew Slevison on Tue, 06/28/2011 - 14:23 Galatasaray’s Lorik Cana is eyeing a return to England this summer according to reports. The 27-year old Albania international, who spent a year with Sunderland, was surprisingly sold to the Turkish club last summer but could be in for a comeback to England’s top flight. Cana did well for the Black Cats before he was sold and has proved he can handle English football which may make him attractive to some clubs as he looks to depart Gala’ this off-seasotribal football like but you never know., taps nose, looks to the seaside

We were happy to take Portsmouth, Wigan, Wolves and Sheff Utd cast offs. Under no illusions would I rate him as a must-sign, although if we could work out a cheap deal, why not? A striker is needed especially due to Moyes' refusal to start Vellios.

The players we got from those clubs where not cast off's, they where their best players.

Graham is a cast off seen as Swansea don't wan't him.

Would you say it's looking likely that you might destroy a household appliance in pure Evertonian transfer window frustration edge?
