David Moyes: Everton Manager & Tactical Discussion
David Moyes returned to Everton in January 2025, marking a second tenure for the man who famously coined
the term "The People's Club." After a trophy-winning spell at West Ham, Moyes was appointed by The Friedkin Group to provide stability during the club’s historic move to Hill Dickinson Stadium.
With over 500 games managed across his two spells, the Scotsman remains one of the most experienced figures in Premier League history. This hub serves as the primary destination for all David Moyes discussion, covering his tactical "pragmatic modernism," recent match results, and his long-term vision for the Blues' future.

I reckon there is no better time for Moyes to sign than now going into the derby tomorrow. Surely it would be the perfect way to get the fans united and behind the team.
The longer he leaves it, it seems less likely he will commit his future to us.
Signing it soon. He is happy. Signings have been made. Looks like some nay sayers may get [Poor language removed] on again.

Not sure if this has been covered, but anyone who may have gone to the Stoke game may be able to tell me, did Moyes run over to the away fans at the end of the game kissing the badge on his top and then throw it into the crowd? Just something I got told earlier.
Look at the difference in this lad an M'bia. I know who i would rather have in my team. The fact he wants to learn english so to mix the the rest of the boys say a lot for his caractor.
He going to be awsome.
Speaking to the official Everton website, David Moyes has revealed he expects news to be announced shortly regarding his contract.
Moyes: "I think things are moving along nicely and hopefully we will have some news shortly."

Lets hope that BK pulls his finger out and gives DM a decent wage and some money in Jan or we could face losing him. I dont think he would go, their not as big and dont have fans as good as ours but you never know.

As soon as I heard the news about Kevin Keegan being sacked by the barcodes, my instant reaction was that they would come in for Moyes. Now skysports have just been speaking to the reporter who is getting all the info, and he said that the two names being linked are Dennis Wise and Alan Shearer...

It's about time Moyes signed it, I think. No excuses can be used now that the window has slammed shut. If he signs it, I'm pretty confident we're still heading in the right direction. If not, then I am worried.

Just done this out of curiosity really. You could pick the bones out of it if you wanted to but it gives a general idea behind how well the board have backed David Moyes in the transfer market since he joined the club.

With Moyes having a habit of making signings completely out of the blue, will the boss complete any late signings before midnight. If so, will they be lone deals or will the club actually spend some hard cash. Seven hours and 40 minutes remain and i am clinging on to the old saying "no news is...
First post, so please be gentle.
One thing has struck me over the shambles of the summer. David Moyes has built up a quite a reputation at Everton, a manager that can get the best of a threadbare squad and get us up to the top with very little/no money.
Well, he's done a good a job so...
