Anywhere in town showing this game tomorrow? I know Nelly Foley's does but I'd like to avoid the panic attack from being in there.

    SV Werder Bremen v Everton(Saturday 3 August 14:00)

Thought I'd put together a mini guide for Bremen, I've been twice before and it's a cracking city. If you're flying into Bremen it takes about 10 minutes to get into the centre, it's boss. For the night before/after the match, the Schlachte (the riverside) is a good bet. Loads of beer gardens...

    SV Werder Bremen v Everton(Saturday 3 August 14:00)

Get yourself a Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) Ticket. Covers all trips around the state including between Bremen and Hamburg. Costs €23 but if someone's going with you it's only an extra €3 per person. Just buy one at a ticket machine (think it's under day tickets or special tickets) and write...

The Evertonian's Guide to World Cup 2018

Ta to the mods for adding the German LB to the Rumoured list, that popped up about 10 minutes after I sent it over. Going away to Cologne and Frankfurt next week, so I hope we sign him and I get an excuse to waste about £100 on a Germany top. Also Tosun's from Frankfurt so I'll be paying my...

The Evertonian's Guide to World Cup 2018

Geech submitted an update to GrandOldTeam's homepage The Evertonian's Guide to World Cup 2018 The World Cup in Russia starts on Thursday, beginning off a month of fast kicking, low scoring, and ties. If you’re like most Everton fans, you’ll be done with football for another few months yet...

    Auf Wiedersehen, Wayne, Again

Geech submitted an update to GrandOldTeam's homepage Auf Wiedersehen, Wayne, Again So farewell, then, Wayne Rooney. As it's been reported, he will be on his way to Washington DC once he's used his holidays up. It does seem strange for him to be moving much closer to the only man on this...

    "What Do They Want?"

Ta for the kind words all. Best of luck for tonight, I’ll be getting hammered watching Mrs Brown because it will be less irritating than watching that lot.

    "What Do They Want?"

Geech submitted an update to GrandOldTeam's homepage "What Do They Want?" In hindsight, getting beat 3-1 by a David Moyes team while playing 5 defenders was the perfect way to cap off our annus horribilis. Thankfully, the winds of change came quicker than Curry Night at Wetherspoons - in 3...

What was your highest and lowest point of season 17/18?

High point: Rooney’s goal against Stoke. Low point: The home defeat to Burnley and that first feeling of apathy. There were worse moments after that, but that first moment of expected misery after the summer we had was pretty [Poor language removed] grim.

    Pre-Season?
