I love the Ship & Mitre, it's the first place I take anyone who's never been to the city before. It's also conveniently located near Lime Street Station for anyone getting a train home after the match.

Here you go @davids the video evidence that you said was the only way you would believe that Moyes had final say on transfers. Ready to say that Moyes signed Dibling now?

Iraola promises a more exciting, front foot, proactive substitution style, that's the main attraction it seems to me. Moyes to Nuno makes no sense

I know. I was being a little bit flippant in an attempt to be funny. You're right, though, an ambitious manager can push those above him to be more ambitious too. Moyes isn't that, he's a company man, doesn't rock the boat, doesn't push the...

The context of the debate is around expectation management. My input was... After Moyes, Kenwright talked up Champions League without prompt, and titles just as Moshiri come in. After Everton, Moyes continued to downplayed expectations at...

Also have to be huge question marks over whether West Ham would want him to stay given he's reportedly on £150k a week.

It's not corruption, it's just people. Every set of fans thinks the league is corrupt and biased against their team, and that actually shows it's not biased against any of them. There's home team bias but that's subconcious. On another day, the...

Bowen's a tremendous player but the game has moved on, teams like us can't go spending big money on players reaching 30.

I'd be surprised, with him being at the stage of his career that he is, if he was up for a season in the Championship. Most likely, he'll move to another London based club.

Ha ha. I'm no fan of Moyes but I'm not sure he was the one holding Everton back, Bill!

Well, Spurs have had a couple of crap seasons but have also won a Europa League, a league cup, been to a CL final and qualified for Europe loads of times in the past couple of decades. So, yeah, being a bit more Spurs would be alright.

His worst thing wasn’t investing in Everton and holding onto his train set the real damage he has caused is to generations of Evertonian to have zero ambition and be scared of their own shadows. I have seen these three phrases appear on this...
