What a load of old bull. The fans expectations never are or were described by the thoughts of one section of the fan base, for example I have seen us win in the 60s, 80s and 90s and after the last 5 seasons I am happy for a period of stability. This is not the end of my ambition for Everton, it is the start.
I am not blind-sided by Kenwright or the original poster. I am perfectly capable of holding a contrary opinion to you both. The sweeping generalisations are both arrogant and condescending and are shameful.
Blaming fans, who actually have little to zero impact on the manager or owners of the club, is just wind-up hypocrisy of the first ilk.
I know - on a forum about supporting Everton, let’s have 17 threads dissing the manager, another 20 dissing the deceased chairman and let’s have a few goes at players and fans.
It’s a bloody disgrace.
