ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

They are an absolutely repulsive organisation. They probably don’t get the rub of the green for every 1 in 50 decisions yet they mobilise their media sycophants to scream bloody murder every time an even remotely debatable decision goes against them. Their fans are the lowest form life...

    Relegation Thread 25-26

I just don’t get how Moyes, very quickly after arriving last season, managed to turn us into a effective team yet despite having more tools at his disposal now has completely forgotten how to get a tune out of anyone. We have been so disappointing this season. We couldn’t beat Villa or West Ham...

ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I’m struggling to enjoy their recent dip as much as I should due to our pathetic showing at Anfield in the 1st half. They haven’t played well all season, even in the games they’ve won, yet in classic Moyes fashion we went to Anfield petrified and by the time we realised on the day that there’s...

We need to talk about Nottingham Forest.

Ange is comfortably one of the worst managers I think that has ever graced the premier league. He absolutely fluked that Europa league thanks to the new format and a ridiculously easy run whilst somehow managing to nearly relegate an ever present premier league team. His whole outlook and...

    Homepage Article NDiaye Upfront?

I don’t see the harm in trying something like this when we’re playing against a team who arrive at our place almost begging us to beat them like Aston Villa and West Ham were. But you’re probably right that Moyes isn’t going to change at this stage of his career. I mean, the bloke was about to...

    Homepage Article NDiaye Upfront?

I think there's every chance Ndiaye would be just as isolated just as Beto and Barry have been. I really want to see Ndiaye back on the left, with Grealish as the 10 and KDH moved back into midfield once we serves his ridiculous ban. I think we'd have much better balance and it frees up a slot...

    2025/26 Jack Grealish

I think we need to move him centrally. It’s his game to slow the play down but we’re becoming increasingly more predictable and easy to deal with as we play through him so much that teams are able to get back into shape when we work the ball out to him. For him to consistently work on the left...

    Barry Vs Beto

We need to get the balance in midfield and our attacking players right before we worry about the striker. Yes we’d have all loved another option in the summer but that was always going to be difficult and I refuse to believe having watched Beto score a decent number of goals last season, as well...

    2025/26 David Moyes

Perhaps the most frustrating part of our start to the season is the amount of teams we have played at probably the lowest ebb they’ll be at all season and we still couldn’t beat them: Villa, West Ham, arguably even the RS, none will be as poor as they are right now and we completely ran out of...

I’d agree completely if our first 11 looked like a cohesive team that was right on the cusp of something but just need a little more time together but that’s not what I see at all. I think we’re absolutely clueless and we seem to already be a team that accepts its main outlets are set pieces and...

Not really sure I agree. I’ve seen McNeil and Alcaraz have plenty of good games for Everton and I know they didn’t cover themselves in glory the other night but when you you know your the manager isn’t going to play you even if you have a good game I’m not completely surprised they didn’t look...

He’s certainly got time in my book too but this is poor start to the season considering the fixtures we’ve had and the vibes many felt for the new players and the stadium factor as well. I thought some got very carried away with the summer business, at the end of the day we only signed two...

Match Thread Everton 1-1 West Ham United 29th September 20:00

I was of the opinion in the summer that we needed a right back to even call the transfer window an adequate success, so I was throughly expecting us to be a little disjointed since we didn’t sign one - but I’ve been shocked at how little Moyes has managed to get out of us as an attacking unit so...

Tells you all you need to know about Moyes that he looks to Iroebugnam before Alcaraz in a game we are drawing.

Do we not have any other ideas than striker for striker? The manager needs to try something different. To continually swap the strikers round implies that the unit is fine and it’s all breaking down right at the front and that isn’t the case at all. We are not a good team at the moment.
