Toney will leave now because he's publicly called the saudi league corrupt in the last few weeks. I would imagine he is fast out staying his welcome over there.
Whether I'd want him is another story.
Last summer we tried for Delap and McAtee, this summer we might be after Shea Charles and Rico Lewis, I’m sure we’re just trying to recreate Man City’s all-conquering under-18s from 2021. Not a bad idea actually! Amazing that they also had Cole...
I actually feel like Beto is the more likely striker to stay- he is an experienced head who Moyes knows can do a serviceable job and won't cause problems if he's on the bench for a spell. There's something to be said for a hardworking striker who...
Even Villa had been in decline for years when they went. It wasn't just a bad season, rather the culmination of 3-4 bad ones hitting them. The season they dropped it just felt like they ran out of fight and gave up.
I know Spurs finished 17th...
With Dibling, Rohl and Aznou I think they were signed with more long term goals in mind. Obviously we want them to contribute right away, but I don't think people at the club were necessarily expecting to see tons from them until next season...
I see we are linked with Fatawu again. Not against it in principle, but it would have to be a massively cut price deal after the year Leicester have had.
Just so I get this right, you're wanting human rights abusers to take over our club whilst you are currently fighting with socialist views for the pricing of season tickets?
Oh dear. Leeds were the ones that could have had a complete meltdown. Looking more like 3 wins to survive now, something that has taken them 24 games when you look back at their previous results.
I remember when we got a 'real' winner in to enforce high standards in the dressing room and be a leader within the squad. He had plenty of experience winning trophies, and was actually a bit younger than Coleman so surely would be around for...
I don't think he was PL standard in the end. But I would say he was promising when he broke through, and had his development absolutely ruined by the conveyor belt of managers we had in his time at the club.
That would be fine if they hired him in January. He doesn't have the luxury of taking two or three games to get up to speed though. By then it will likely be too late.
I've renewed, but it really feels like we are being taken for mugs. I know that the days of me buying a drink in the ground pre-match are done now, and it's been several years since I bought anything else from the club other than a season ticket...
