I don't think he was PL standard in the end. But I would say he was promising when he broke through, and had his development absolutely ruined by the conveyor belt of managers we had in his time at the club.

A lot of players at 18 look potential. He lived off that Man City game for a few years.
Not for me. Odd good game shouldnt have cut it at Everton for so long. I couldnt dislike him though. He never hid.

He`s been injured for most of those three seasons.

I`m not sure whether his body is up to playing footy anymore, may be time to look to pastures new.

I used to have same with some hipster in work. Clueless.

My abiding memory is him coming on in injury time, 2-0 up v Newcastle and he was at fault for both goals.

Luckiest lad alive.
