Missed a great chance sure, but easily still one of our best players at making things happen and getting us up the pitch. Beto needs to be making better early movement for the other counter we had

Doesn't matter if hes up with the play if hes not making a move to A) get across infront of the defender Or B) drop off to find space for a deeper ball behind the defender Instead, beto went with... C) slow jog alongside the defender then...

What? KDH wanted to play a ball behind the line but had to delay and wait for Beto to start a movement. Then it got closed out
  • J
KDH was clearly annoyed on that break when he looked up and Beto not getting across his man
  • J
Thats nonsense. Hardly been crap has he.. no other player other than Ndiaye would even get us up the pitch and into those positions. Hes missing them sure, but hes still been one of our best players

Keaneee-ooooo. We always likely to concede with him in the lineup

Surprised we didn't keep Barry in after the goals tbh, but good to see Tim and Rohl again

Let's keep the manager that's improving the club ehy lads. or find ourselves with another Dyche or Marco Silva. Moyes IN

I rate him alot, has tons going for him, tackling ability, his stride with the ball, just those few things that need refining like protecting the ball from turnover in dangerous positions which he's still prone to here and there. If the...

He did look super motivated yesterday... Glad he had a good game though, even without the goals, he was winning the headers and flicks and getting busy. A vast improvement on recent performances from him. Could have done with more pressing and...

Good game. Hes fast but also somehow still looks a bit clumsy. But impressed with him today, definitely tired in final stages but match fitness probably lacking

Expecting as to come out and try and outplay Man City though.. come on now. Counter attacking against them gives a far better chance of winning at our current phase of rebuild. We simply dont have the squad to be trying to outclass them (for now)

Not on Moyes though. Which is what this thread is. The players didn't manage the game well enough at the end. 3 or 4 players chasing after the ball when Donaruma was out of goal when chance of getting the ball was minimal. Then being stuck out...

Some people just decided they hate Moyes ever since he left the first time and will just beat that drum regardless of how we play or where we finish in the league. It's tedious and tiring.

For no reason? Tim was dead on the floor... lol. There was already 1 min to be added on due for alcaraz and Patterson subs at 92
