Also often think it was 10 points in the November, only reduced to 6 in Feb (with a threat of more of unknown amount to come as well same season!). Put us right in the mire.
Go from November-Feb this season, -10 put us firmly in a scrap.
It's a fair point, but if you remove the points theft we would have been 12th not 15th that season.
Or if you remove 8 points this season we would be 14th, level with Leeds. In either scenario it hints at much less progress.
I know we have a Crystal Palace thread, and a West Ham one.
And the 'Today's Football' thread.
But this one is a big'un/I'm trying to encourage some new threads for visibility/discovery/nerd search reasons.
Predictions for this one?
Agreed. When hes in the hybrid position he can have long periods where he doesnt see the ball and unable to have any influence.
Gueye is undroppable for Moyes though which then means Rohl, Armstrong, Tim have no chance of getting prolonged...
Having the season of his life, certainly for G+A but will always think he's an 8.
Think he helps us best there too. Think his best games, and indeed ours, have been with him in that 8 and Garner as a 6.
I think as an 8 he'd still make the kind of runs that get him goals. He's a very clever player. Anonymous first half, trying to help the midfield, too late to support Beto. Hybrid role doesnt help him in these type of games. 2nd half he stepped...
Agree, said a few times on here him an Ndiaye felt restrained/too disciplined, too concerned about getting back in.
We went to much percentage football and it shown most with them for me.
Think he was poor for the most part today, at times he was good but I felt like he was massively in his shell today, pulled out of a few challenges and seemed a bit off it because of the occasion.
Been a good signing and did great for the goal...
