Yeah man, I agree that Patterson should have got more of a go, but we do have a lot of evidence of him being crap. It's the only grace I'm wholeheartedly offering Moyes.
A very generous 6/10.
Spending a season not looking over our should for pretty much the entire season, is progress, as much as it doesn't feel like it. But that's it, really.
I personally would be making our players do Full Metal Jacket style boot camp after yesterday. So you've just tipped me from Team Glasner over into Team Iraola with that bit of info.
Obviously though, Moyes is here next season and sadly we all...
To be fair, mate, he's often played well when he's played at Centre half, think him and Branthwaite could be a good partnership. They're also both great athletes so it would help us get up the pitch and keep teams camped in.
Seen as a stroke of genius using our gaping hole at RB as a place to get him on the pitch, involved and bedded in after being ignored by Dyche.
Still being RB after a season and a half is inexcusable. Particularly when the CB pairing of choice...
To be fair, I think a competent pair of full backs who can do a respectable amount at both ends of the pitch has this team easily 5 points or so better off, irrespective of the manager.
Nothing I've seen from TFG so far, or their choice of Everton CEO suggests there's even a remote possibility of change this summer.
They'll get him some full backs, the likes of Ivan Toney/Liam Delap/Tomas Soucek/Harry Wilson and we'll be...
I was hoping to start seeing him phased out towards the end of the season, but the injury to Branthwaite and the manager's insistence on O'Brien at right back have set us back.
