Time wasting

Not sure I agree with this. Surely every team in world football does it? Even prime Barca and Madrid players went down like they've been shot in big games to waste time

Agree with the Pickford though, at times it's brilliant.. other times is just plain daft ie the derby last year. right got trolled by Alisson for it
Southall was a master at time wasting ?

Don't like it; gives off an inferiority complex vibe. Hints that we are scared of the opposition. It's fine if we're a goal up with 10 mins left, but not in the first half ffs.

More confidence will come with better players in our squad of course, so the sooner this happens the better.

It's all very Allardyce. I can understand it stuck in a relegation battle run in but not in August.

We slowed the intensity of the game down. Took the wind out of Leeds. Great game management and it’s happened to us plenty of times before.

This. It wasn't time-wasting with the traditional purpose of holding on to a scoreline. It was to stop Leeds getting going in the way they want to play and frustrating them. It was smart tactics.

I hate time wasting, stop the clock when the ball goes out of play, in the modern game us fans are lucky if we get 60 minutes of actual football to watch.

Think it was needs must yesterday. They wanted to play it fast first half and we prevented it. We had no outlet up front to hold onto the ball, if we just played it normally the ball would've kept coming back at us constantly like what happened second half when players began to clearly tire.

We have had it done to us loads of times so it is a breath of fresh air to see us being a bit snide. Being too nice has got us absolutely nowhere whatsoever.

Last night was worth it just to see Jesse Marsch acting like a complete and utter bell with his watch. Straight out of the school playground type reaction.

Up the snidey blues!!!

He's an idiot of a fella.

Desperately trying to shake off the "American Soccer Coach" stereotype but only succeeding in solidifying that stereotype.

The over excited chimp.
He feels absolutely no need for that, and only certain people *cough* continue to feed that weird stereotype
